In January 2017 Baby Steps Family Assistance re-located from Trinity Episcopal Church to the heart of the “One for All Building”169 Main Street, Suite 211, Claremont, NH 03743 where we became its own 501(c ) 3 non-profit, to serve our families in need here in the community at large.
Our community action program supports the many programs on premise in our building FREE of charge to them from WIC/ teen shelter/daycare drop-in center/teen center and family supported services. We believe in the spirit of collaboration by working with many community partners and organizations with their clients here in the upper valley and beyond that are no-income/ low-income hard-working individuals and families.
Our support is also to those who have lost everything due to fire or other unfortunate circumstances, including grandparents raising their grandchildren who are victims of the opioid crisis. Our Homeless Outreach support is substantial here in the community that we take very seriously, and our team is working each day to make a positive impact here in the community at large.
Baby Steps community seasonal Clothing Closet provides clothing for immediate distribution of workforce/everyday clothing/shoes and basic needs items that are essential for individuals re-entering the workforce and everyday clothing needs. We also have a children’s clothing closet for our children outgrowing their clothes faster than families can afford to purchase new ones.
In have a green initiative to resourcefully safeguard and protect the environment and free up our landfills by recycling and distributed over 12,000 articles of clothing for adults and filling over 1.240 bags with a weeks’ worth of children’s clothing last year alone.
We love our customers, so feel free to visit during normal business hours.
